stack-diagram turns one sentence about your stack into an architecture diagram with official logos

Video coming soon

01What happened

stack-diagram is a free, MIT-licensed agent skill. It runs in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents that support skills.

You describe your stack in one sentence, for example "Next.js on Vercel, Postgres on Neon, auth with Clerk, payments with Stripe". The agent draws the architecture diagram, then renders and checks it before handing it over.

Every box gets its official logo from svgl, devicon, gilbarbara/logos or the brand's own repo, and logos are never recolored. AWS, Google Cloud and Azure parts use each vendor's own icon package. Lines are routed around labels, so no arrow cuts through text.

You get a self-contained HTML file by default, or light and dark PNGs, a dependency-free React component or a Claude artifact. It needs Python 3.9+ and network access to fetch the logos, and PNG export uses Playwright with Chromium.

02Why it matters

Developers and founders keep redrawing the same architecture diagram for READMEs, docs and pitch decks. With this skill, one sentence in the agent you already use gets you a diagram with correct logos in several formats, so the diagram can change whenever your stack does.

03Try it

  • Install the skill with: npx skills add caru-ini/stack-diagram (you need Python 3.9+ first).
  • Describe your current project's stack in one sentence and ask your agent for the diagram.
  • Export the light and dark PNGs and swap them into your README to replace the old hand-drawn diagram.
